Nicholas Bolton engineers all projects at Holy Tapes! Mastering. Nick started mastering in 2014 to help independent bands enhance and finalize their albums affordably. He’s since worked with hundreds of artists and rebuilt the studio in Jersey City NJ.

When not mastering Nick is also the Audio / Video Supervisor at NYU Steinhardt Department of Music and Performing Arts where he teaches, designs and engineers audio and projections for three performance spaces.

He creates modular synth and tape loop music under the names Arsenic and Raft. Past musical projects include ex wife and Wetwired.

- Spelling, capitalization and punctuation of the band name, album name and each track title
- Album order, including side splits for cassette and vinyl release
- Any specific track spacing notes (or a reference audio file of the album with spaces)
- ISRC / UPC codes if needed - registration form
- Alternate version needs (masters for vinyl or cassette release, instrumental versions, radio-friendly, etc.)
- Any other special instructions you have

Metadata encoding, edits and revisions are included.

Cash, check, credit cards, bank transfers, and PayPal are accepted. For credit cards, bank transfers and PayPal, 3% is added to cover transaction costs.

Payment is appreciated in advance but if money’s tight we'll work something out.

Turnaround averages about one week.

Final masters are delivered as 24 bit WAV files. Additional high resolution files are included in the download link for alternate versions and DDP image if ordered.
